Cut from the same cloth mustard
The “ Cut From The Same Cloth” series serve as a reminder that beauty can be found in unexpected places.
I repurpose leftover paints and mixed media onto a vast unstretched canvas. Layers upon layers of various mediums dry and new compositions take shape. It becomes a visual narrative of purpose and resilience and I recognize the potential for it to become something more. My goal is to breathe new life into these materials and transform them into interesting works of art. I tear the canvas into small pieces and make a gridlike pattern. Each little piece tells its own story, a fragment of a larger narrative pieced together with purpose and intention.
Repurposing leftover materials is not just an artistic choice but also a contribution of environmental respect and responsibility.
